Mhow Analysis and Research Society (MARS) is the first ever think tank in Central India on matters related to Strategy, Global Issues and National Security.

The society is aptly named due to its location at Mhow, a military cantonment in the serene environment of picturesque Malwa Plateau. Mhow provides an optimal environment for a thinktank to operate, due to the presence of three prestigious training establishments of Indian Army and presence of large number of serving officers and veteran experts, who possess rich experience on defence and strategic matters.

  • Vision

    To be a leading research group in the strategic and security domains.

  • Mission

    To analyse and research matters of national and international interests with emphasis on warfare in all its dimensions and encourage a strategic culture.

  • Motto

    The motto of the society is “Inquire and Inspire”, indicating studies, research and analysis by members on various domains of strategy, geo-politics, national security and inspiring others to undertake studies in these domains.
